Nike SQ Dymo Driver Ranks Among Best In Reviews and Testing

in

What are the most important criteria when choosing the driver you would want to play? Let’s say a club looked terrible and sounded terrible, you might not even want to try it out, but if it performed better than all other clubs, you would learn to love it wouldn’t you? I say that clearly, the most important criteria for a driver are distance and accuracy. I’m not intending to imply anything about the Nike SQ Dymo driver’s looks or sound. My point is that it really doesn’t matter, since it received 2nd place in reviews in the 2 most important categories: distance and accuracy.

Henrik Stenson Successful at the TPC with Mixed Bag of Golf Clubs

Henrik Stenson won the Tour Player’s Championship in Ponte Vedra Beach, Florida on Sunday. Clearly, he plays the clubs that work best for him, with little concern for any big endorsement contract. His driver is a Callaway FT-3, which is several years old. The 3-wood that he used to tee off many times this week is a Big Bertha from 2004. His irons and putter are different brands.

I figured since he was wearing a Srixon hat, maybe the Srixon irons he plays were more current models, but that’s not the case. Apparently he wears the hat because he plays a Srixon ball.

Callaway FT-9 Driver Review and Testing

The Callaway FT-9 driver has done very well in reviews and testing. Rankmark.com tested 36 drivers, and the FT-9 took 5th place overall. The FT-9 is designed for better players to be able to work the ball with a draw or fade, but golfers of all handicaps have benefited from this driver.

Sean O’Hair won the Quail Hollow Championship in Charlotte, North Carolina on Sunday. Sean plays TaylorMade golf clubs, except for one Cleveland lob wedge. Quail Hollow’s finishing holes are referred to as the green mile, and are very tough finishing holes. In spite of taking bogey on each of the last 2 holes, O’Hair won by one stroke over Lucas Glover.

What’s the Best Set of Golf Clubs? Titleist AP1 Irons

in

The Rankmark.com irons test reveals the best golf clubs set as the Titleist AP1 irons. There’s not a remarkable difference in the appearance between the AP1 and the AP2 irons. The AP1 irons are for higher handicappers (but not necessarily high handicappers), and are made of stainless steel, whereas the AP2 irons are made of forged carbon steel.
